I think you just done broke the sun. It no shiny anymore! I hope you can fix it...

I find it amazing how chaotically evil this pleasantry is. If I'm being confusing, it's because you're being confusing. So many different size pieces at variable speeds falling from the broken moon. It's hard to make sense of, but I still know it all once came from the same floating object in the sky.

Zechnition responds:

"Various pieces falling at varied sizes, all sharing the same lineage. This mesmerizing dance mimics the chaotic pattern that dappled the face of the satellite as it waltzed around our earth ages ago."

The song lacks audio dynamic. You've got a wave that looks like █████ instead of like ◄█◄►██► (if that makes sense). All the parts and instruments come together in a crafty demeanor. When the time is right, the solo takes center stage, but some of the key movements in the vocals get lost because they are too quiet in contrast.

Much like the picture, it makes me feel crowded. I don't like that feeling, but maybe that's a good thing because you were aiming right at my claustrophobia.

xZiriusX responds:

Indeed, the heavily-compressed drums are what makes it look like a brick. The vocals are also too quiet as I wasn't confident enough about them sounding as loud as they should. Learning to like your own voice is tough! Also, making crowded songs is my jam ;)

Caught my attention by surprise, and connected with me. But then a little over half way there was this distasteful sawtooth wave that threw me off balance.

TebyTheCat responds:

Thanks for commenting!

Do you have an instrument in mind that would be better fitting for that part? I feel like the past few years I made some... "questionable" choices regards which instruments to choose for each part, so I'd be happy to hear any suggestions

The wobbly artificial autotuned style of the vocals end up getting lost in translation. Even while reading the lyrics while I listened, they were hard to come across, and I still got lost in their placement as what I was hearing sounds different than what is printed. Before I scrolled a bit and really started paying attention, I almost dismissed the singing as a melodic lead.

Other than that critique, I enjoyed the overall vibe.

I get this sense of sitting atop Lover's Peak, enjoying a romantic night of clear skies, with the perfect view of the twin towers from across the lake. The song opens with the nervous rattling of keys followed by a calming breath to gather oneself. Away from the city, an intimate evening pursues. As the sun starts to fade, and the stars begin to shine, a moment of bliss shared. The soft touching of graceful lips as the sexy sax mutually enhances the feelings of embrace. The unspoken gesture of flirtatious smiles end the night as they part.

Instead of displaying the lyrics separately, I would very much like the rerelease of the song when you feel more confident in your abilities to add vocals.

TheVodouQueen responds:

Hey there!

Thank you so much for your words of confidence. I think this song very much will be one of those that I'd revisit again, once I stoke up the courage to sing its lyrics. :) The way you describe the song also is very enamoured, and I love it! ^_^ Thanks again for swinging on by and dropping your vote and a review. I appreciate it a lot and hope to see you around on NG! ♥

I became entranced by the motions of a Sunda - SunNight drive. After a night to myself on the road with nothing between me and the city, clear skies with starlight and building lights as a beacon home. The radio on. Every turn of the wheel taking charge almost as if the car has autopilot with a single directive of getting home safe. I am at peace.

The accompanying picture really fits the bill with this track. I can truly picture myself taking a journey of my own from within. I am pleased to state this quickly became 1 of the 4 songs I'm rooting for in the AIM competition. Good luck!

Siberg responds:

ty 4 kind words my duder man

Be my savior before I drown. I really enjoyed the composition of this song among the current submissions for AIM. I didn't necessarily make the connection of swimming, or descending in the ocean. I got more of a falling from the sky through the clouds while half conscious kind of vibe, but I liked the music non the less. It's a strong contender, and it's 1 of the 4 I'm rooting for.

IndexatioN responds:

Thanks a lot for your sweet words ;)

The inspirational piece chosen for this track fits perfectly with the atmospheric sounds that are appropriately incorporated throughout. I sat staring out the virtual window picturing myself on the sofa with a mug in one hand. When the song came to a close, I had to let it play an additional time completely forgetting it's clear skies and 80 degrees through my actual window.

I really enjoyed what you've accomplished in this song, which is why it's 1 of the 4 songs apart of the approved AIM list I'm rooting for. Also, besides discovering both you and your work from this competition, I am now a fan of yours and aleha84.

Accel-yo responds:

Wow man im so happy this track made you feel like that :) Im glad that I could share this vibe with u thru the combination of music and art!

I just got done listening to all the approved tracks for AIM thus far. The vibe right from the beginning all the way through to the end definitely has me sitting front and center at the races. I'm no judge, but this is 1 of the 4 tracks I'm rooting for. Either way, consider me a fan, and good luck!

TeffyD responds:

Thank you, I appreciate it!

Based on your title I figure you were aiming for a galactic space vibe, but I can't get past the fact this song screams total 80s Aerobics. Would work out to this song any day every day!
